Biltongmakers.Com! is a private organization started by
Kelvin D Malherbe and Lo Krijger in 1995.
At first the web site was established to market the Traditional 2kg Home Biltong Maker invented by Kelvin some years before.
Since then the site has developed into a means to purchase virtually anything to do with Biltong,
Boerewors and Potjiekos.
At a later stage the Nice 'n Spicy section was added to the site as well as other types and sizes of Biltong makers.
More and more South African specialties will be added to the site mainly by request of our customers. |
It is always nice to know that there is a means to contact the people you are dealing with.
The factory and supply center where the Biltong Maker is manufactured and the stock of all other items that you find on the web site is kept, is in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The International Marketing Offices were moved to Belgium in July 2001 mainly because of the enormous South African ex-patriate population present in Europe.

Purchases and/or collections in South Africa
Unfortunately the factory in South Africa does not take orders. All orders for products on the Biltongmakers.Com! web site must be placed on the web site using the order placing facility.
For collection in South Africa you should enter a South African address under the shipping information and put a note on the order form that you want to collect in South Africa. Please use the "normal post" option when ordering.
As soon as your order has been received the factory will be notified about your order and be given your details.
If you collect yourself, your card account will be credited with the posting part of the P&P charged on your order.
If we deliver this charge will stand.
We can also post your order to the given address in South Africa.
Posting will take about a week unless you order overnight mailing.
